GRIFFITH WEEKEND

Join us for our stay in Griffith for 2 nights.

Arriving Friday 2nd August

Departing Sunday 4th August

Griffith is a beautiful city of about 25,000 people and situated in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area in the Riverina. It is a very diverse agricultural area known as the food bowl of the Riverina. You will see this diversity as you ride into the town from any direction.

You will see plenty of citrus, rice, wheat, cotton as well as vineyards, including the well known De Bortoli, Yellowtail and McWilliams wineries. A great place to visit if you love food, especially Italian food and wine.

If there is anything you would like to see or do in this region, please speak up as the itinerary is flexible.

Most are planning to travel on Friday and meet in Griffith from mid to late afternoon.

Friday evening

We have not made any plans for dinner on Friday night, probably a hotel meal or pizza etc.

Saturday

We will ride around the region on Saturday. Route planning is still underway but will provide plenty of great options.

Saturday Evening

We are planning to book into an Italian restaurant that serves beautiful food on Saturday night.
Make sure you register at goldwing.com.au if you are attending this weekend, so we can book in for the correct number of people.

Sunday morning

We will leave to come home on Sunday morning and hope to detour slightly for breakfast/lunch at Whitton Malthouse on Darlington Point Rd. This place is also worthy of a visit if you are travelling home in that direction.

It is important to register your attendance via the Goldwing Club of Australia website goldwing.com.au. You can always log back in and make any changes, if circumstances change, such as you are unable to attend or the number of people attending with you changes.
Non-members can register by creating a temporary account.
